The lens on the Holga can not cover a full frame Polaroid. So it has to be removed. There are 2 screws which hold the assembly to the body. Cut the flash wires if you have any and set the entire piece aside.
Not only does the lens not cover full frame, but the lens opening is off center with regards to the Polaroid back, so you need to gut the entire camera to make room for the new light path.
If you have a flash model, you'll remove the batteries, holder and springs. Otherwise just go ahead and remove all the plastic you see inside the camera.
Pliers or a small knife work just fine. You don't need to be super clean, but try to remove the most you can.
With the Holga reduced to just a shell its time to add the Diana into the mix.
