After the minor set back of breaking my last attempt at an Auto 250 conversion, I think this one turned out great. I learned that with a 127mm lens, it can be easy.

Obviously there are still a few problems that can not be fixed. The finder can not completely fold down. And the lens won't allow the front plastic housing to be put back on. But I think it closes compact enough.

Because one needs to be able to trip the shutter from the front I thought I would try and find a cable release that would work.

I found a pretty neat one that had space for a cable release and matched the black and metal finish of the camera.

The handle also has a cold-shoe for any flash. All you need is a PC sync cord, and you've got something a bazillion times better than any stock 180/195.
